Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and its righteousness

The story of the Parish of the Epiphany is a story of faith, courage, and community. Coming into the congregation today, a new member would be fortified by values and commitments established long ago—our loving kindness to each other, our remark able Christian education program for all ages, our long history of outreach, our magnificent music program, and the beauty of our services and our sanctuary.

faqToday Epiphany seems particularly blessed, guided by our rector Thomas Brown, strengthened by each other, and fed by the variety of our parish life. From such a sure foundation, we can surely meet the future.

Our own church, our diocese, and our mission in the world, need our help very much. Epiphany’s last capital campaign was over 15 years ago, and we do not need to spend a long time discerning what our urgent challenges are now and how we might meet them. We know that our beloved building is in serious need of repair, that our tradition of hospitality is threatened by our lack of handicapped accessibility, and that our abiding relationship with St. Stephen’s and El Hogar calls out for our support. We also know that our Christian faith works through our lives in community, and that we are members, indeed called to be leaders, in the wider Christian community of our diocese.

In prayerful response to the call of our future, our Vestry has voted to establish a Capital Campaign with the goal of raising $1,800,000 to complete the work we describe here.
