we worship: music at epiphany

For almost a century the Parish of the Epiphany has taken pride and joy in, and responsibility for, a strong musical program in its worship.
Music plays an integral part in the social, liturgical and spiritual life of our parish. Steeped in our strong Anglican identity is a history of music and fine musicianship. Called to serve our growing and diverse community, we bring this tradition to our prayer and bring other musical traditions into our prayer and liturgical life.
With multiple volunteer choirs sharing the responsibility, music at Epiphany is an important part of the Sunday services, as well as many special services during the seasons of Christmas, Holy Week, Easter and Pentecost.
In addition, many professional musicians, including singers, brass players, string ensembles and solo instrumentalists, enhance various Sunday and holiday services, giving the choirs an opportunity to explore many different styles of sacred music.
Thanks to the generosity of so many people in The Parish of the Epiphany – singers, parents, supporters of many kinds and gifts – the music offerings continued to enhance and enrich our worship services all year long.
