First Sunday Worship: This Sunday is First Sunday Worship, which means the children worship with everyone at the 10am service. There are no Church School classes. Children can find Bryn before the service to ask for a special job!

Youth Cooking Day: Join the youth and Rev. Janelle as we cook for a  local soup kitchen this Sunday afternoon. See below!

Our multi-generational Candlemas celebration at Midweek!

Youth Cooking Day: February 5

6th – 12th graders are invited this Sunday, February 5 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm to join with the youth from Temple Shir Tikvah in the Epiphany kitchen. We will be cooking lasagna and brownies for The Dwelling Place, a soup kitchen in Woburn. This is an excellent opportunity to connect with youth from another faith community in Winchester and help provide food for our neighbors! RSVP to Rev. Janelle.

Exploring Our Faith: Class for Youth Begins February 5.

All youth (6th-12th grade) are invited to Exploring our Faith, Sundays after the 10am service from Feb. 5th - April 2nd (Skipping Feb. 19th). For those interested in being confirmed (must be 10th grade or older), these classes will be required and fulfill all confirmation qualifications. Please email Janelle at jhiroshige@3crowns.org if you are interested in being confirmed. Pizza will be provided!

Those who wish to be confirmed need to reach out to Janelle this week. Thank you!

Epiphany 101: Intro to the Episcopal Church

On Sundays, February 5 and February 12, adults are invited to join Rev. Nick in the Chapel at 9:00 am for this two-part series designed for inquirers and those interested in knowing more about the Episcopal Church and the life and ministry of the Parish of the Epiphany. For more details, contact Rev. Nick.  If childcare would be helpful to you during this hour, please reach out to Bryn.

Nursery News: Re-Establishing Childcare for Infants & Toddlers During Worship

Update: We anticipate having drop-off nursery care on Sunday, February 12 during the 10am service. We will not have drop-off care on Sunday, February 19 due to the holiday weekend, but we anticipate having care on subsequent Sundays. Parents should look for a registration email from Bryn next week!

We love having babies and toddlers share in our worship. And, we know many families are looking forward to a church nursery where young ones (ages 3 and under) can be dropped off during the 10am Sunday morning worship. Parents and caregivers need some quiet worship time, too. We are in the process of hiring nursery caregivers.

When we provide drop-off care, the nursery (the Dewart Family Room just down the hall from the sanctuary) will be reserved for our youngest children, those ages 0-3 years of age, during the 10am service of worship. We will likely need to limit the number of small children who can be dropped off on any given Sunday, in a safe ratio to the number of caregivers we can schedule on any given Sunday. Parents will still be welcome to spend time in the nursery with their babies or young toddlers during any and all services.

We are looking to fill occasional gaps in our childcare coverage with adult volunteers from our congregation. If you are interested in being part of a volunteer roster to help in the nursery (perhaps every-other month or seasonally), please also reach out to Bryn. It is a wonderful way to serve our community, support our young parents, and spend time with really fun, really adorable little friends.

Youth Hut Hike, June 2023: Please Reach Out to Janelle by February 12

Save the date for our Youth Hut Hike trip on June 26th-28th in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. We will have a guide from the Appalachian Mountain Club and this will be an opportunity for community building while enjoying God’s creation. If interested, please let Janelle know of your initial interest by Feb. 12th. Email Janelle at jhiroshige@3crowns.org.
