    Dear Families,

Welcome back! I hope your April break was all you wanted it to be--exciting or relaxing, in turn. We're in that final spring stretch to summer!

Church School resumes on May 1, in-person at 10:00 am in the Bishop Garden and on Zoom at 9:00 am. We'll start our new Storymakers zine and learn about Jesus, his disciples, the early church, and the Holy Spirit! In-Person friends, please grab your new PINK faith-at-home bag on Sunday; @home families, look for it on your doorstep this weekend!.

Youth Groups and confirmation class restart on Sunday, as well. Confirmation friends, this is the final class (no confirmation class on Mothers' Day)!

    Peace,

    Bryn

PS. Please bring a jacket to in-person Church School--we're going back outside!

Renewal of Ministry: Welcoming Rev. Nick as Rector

All ages are invited to join us this Tuesday, May 3 at 6:00 pm for a grand celebration as Bishop Alan Gates leads us in a worship service to welcome Rev. Nick as our eleventh rector. It will be an evening of celebration, song, and good food.

Yes, we know Rev. Nick has been here well over a year--but we didn't get a proper celebration! Please join us for this important, intergenerational service and joyful reception.

New Session of Church School Starts this Sunday

All children, including visitors, in preschool through fifth grade are invited to join our new session of Church School, which begins on Sunday, May 1.

We explore the Christian faith through art, storytelling, social-emotional thinking, and creative projects. We'll start a new Storymakers zine (like magazine) and learn about Jesus, his disciples, the early church, and the Holy Spirit!

In-Person Church School is Sundays at 10am (now outside in the Bishop Garden) and Zoom Church School (LINK) is Sundays at 9am. Families may also choose to use the curriculum at home together: here is this week's guide to help.

In church and on Zoom we are skipping Chapter 1, which covers the risen Jesus coming back to his disciples, and Thomas’s hard time believing. It’s a great story, but we have a limited number of weeks between now and Pentecost! It would great to read together at home. We are moving to the next part of the story, Chapter 2, when Jesus meets his disciples while they are fishing and tells Peter a really important lesson.

New Faith-at-Home bags are coming home! Check for your first envelope (labeled May 1) and try the cool paper net craft while enjoying a fishy (mmm?) treat.

Please contact Director of Children's Ministries Bryn Hollenbeck at bhollenbeck@3crowns.org for more information.

Can You Help with our Wonderful Fellowship Times?

On Tuesday, May 3rd, we will have a catered reception following the installation service for Rev. Nick.  We are in need of multiple volunteers to help with set-up, serving punch, and clean-up.  The Sign-Up Genius link is here.

We also have a new Sign-Up Genius link for Fellowship Hour during May.  Please consider helping out on one or two Sundays. The Signup Genius link is here.

      Graduation Sunday on May 15

On Sunday, May 15th at the 10:00 am service, we will be honoring this year's graduating seniors, as well as the members of this year's confirmation class. Join us as we recognize their hard work, give thanks for their presence in our community, and bless their next steps forward! The celebration will continue with a reception after the service.

      Midweek@Epiphany Spring Schedule

Midweek@Epiphany is a relaxed evening of fellowship, food, and formation (learning about God and faith) that happens roughly twice a month in the middle of the school & work week.

We begin at 6:15 with a delicious dinner (cooked by our Midweek Dinner Team) and time to socialize. At 7pm, adults and youth are invited to a Bible study with Rev Nick in Upper Parish Hall, and children are invited to a time of faith-centered art and music with Bryn, Jeremy, and ministry volunteers in Hadley Hall.

      The next Midweek@Epiphany dates are:

      • Wednesday, May 18
      • Wednesday, June 1

      All are welcome!
