    The Rev. Kevin Lazarus, Emory doctoral studentAll are invited to a forum with the Rev. Kevin Lazarus, a doctoral candidate in Ethics and Society in Emory University’s Graduate Division of Religion. His research lies at the intersection of Christian theology and disability studies. Kevin will preach and lead the adult forum following our 10:00 am service. This event is the start of our Lighthouse Ministry, focusing on neurodivergence, disability, and mental health.

    Parish of the Epiphany's pipe organ“Bach” by popular demand, on Wednesday, October 30 at 7:00 pm, Epiphany’s Director of Music & Organist will perform an organ recital on the church’s C.B. Fisk, Opus 65 mechanical action pipe organ. This family friendly 45-minute event, inside the dimly lit 1904 sanctuary, will include Johann Sebastian Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D minor among other thematic selections.

    Parish of the Epiphany parishioners participating in 2023 Malden Warming Center volunteer trainingOn Sunday, November 10 from 4:00-6:00 pm, join Epiphany parishioners for a volunteer training for the Malden Warming Center (MWC). MWC, which is open every night from December to March, provides overnight housing for people experiencing homelessness. There are many ways to participate: welcoming guests, monitoring the bathroom, cooking a meal, and assisting in the clothing closet. Parents can also volunteer with their youth-age kids. This training is required for anyone interested in volunteering. It will take place at MCW, located at 529 Eastern Avenue in Malden. To sign up, please contact Rev. Janelle

We will be cooking lasagna and brownies for The Dwelling Place, a soup kitchen in Woburn.     Parish of the Epiphany's nave full of people, lit candles, and greenery during Christmas Eve worshipCelebrate our Savior’s birth with Christmas worship at Parish of the Epiphany! On Tuesday, December 24, our Christmas Eve worship will include three services. The 4:00 pm service is our family Eucharist and Children’s Pageant, sung by the Choristers and Schola. At 7:00 pm, we will offer a Sung Eucharist, and at 10:00 pm, a Festal Eucharist, both featuring the Parish Choir and string quartet. (Please note that the 10:00 pm service includes incense and a choral mas setting.) On Monday, December 25 at 10:00 am, we invite you for a Sung Eucharist with the Schola.

    Headshot of musician Peter SykesOn Sunday, January 12 at 5:00 pm, all are invited to a harpsichord recital by Peter Skyes in Parish of the Epiphany’s Upper Parish Hall. Peter Sykes has taught at the New England Conservatory, the Longy School of Music, and the University of Michigan, and currently teaches at Boston University and is a core faculty member and principal teacher of harpsichord in the Historical Performance department at the Juilliard School in New York City. He will offer music by Louis and François Couperin, Froberger, and J. S. Bach, playing his newest acquisition, a harpsichord by Ronald Haas (after Ruckers, 1624). Admission is free; donations are gladly accepted.
